Studio Architect SVOYA took advantage of this compact 39 m2 area to create a spacious “BR apartment”, designed for a relaxing holiday break in Odessa.
The main challenge lay in organising the principal spaces in accordance with the sea views. Another objective was to make the apartment as open-plan as possible in order to create a sensation of space. The hall and sitting room comprise a single area which also features a large storage system running the length of the wall. Moreover, as the apartment is trapezoidal in shape, the auxiliary furniture was aligned thanks to 90 degree angles.
The bedroom is visually separated from the rest of the space on a raised podium, affording a view of the sea. The Pietra Grey collection by Apavisa was used for the bed base. The podium also extends to the kitchen area, providing a practical solution with the same orientation. The kitchen is equipped with built-in electrical appliances and the splashback is decorated with the same Pietra Grey collection, matching the bed base.
The result is a minimalist apartment with streamlined forms in a range of delightful and soothing colours.
